about DERMAL FILLERS
Dermal fillers are injectable gels made from hyaluronic acid (HA), a substance naturally found in your skin that helps keep it hydrated and plump. They work by restoring lost volume, smoothing lines, and enhancing contours. At The Studio, we only use Medsafe approved dermal fillers that are backed by science and proven results, expertly placed to smooth, sculpt, and subtly lift.
We primarily treat the lips and cheeks with dermal fillers. For lips, we can add volume, definition, and hydration for a soft, natural pout. For cheeks, we restore lift, contour, and balance to the mid face. Every face is different, which is why each treatment begins with a comprehensive consultation where we assess your goals, facial structure, and suitability.
Results typically last 6 to 12 months or longer for lips and 12 to 24 months for cheeks, depending on the area treated, your metabolism, and the specific filler type.

Restylane® is a gel containing hyaluronic acid and lidocaine that is injected by a healthcare professional into or below the skin to smooth facial wrinkles and enhance lips by restoring volume and fullness. Restylane is a Class III medical device and has risks and benefits. Restylane® treatment may result in some redness, swelling, pain or tenderness, itching and/or bruising which may last a few days. Inflammatory reactions can begin up to two to four weeks after treatment in rare cases. See your healthcare professional if any side effects concern you. Exposure to excessive sunlight or extreme cold should be avoided until redness or swelling has resolved. Restylane® should not be used in an area where there is a non resorbable implant or in irritated or infected skin, Restylane® should not be used in people taking blood thinning medicines or who have an allergy to hyaluronic acid, lidocaine or other local anaesthetics. Caution if you take medicines that prolong bleeding time. Treatment lasts 12-24 months. Restylane has not been tested in pregnant or breast-feeding women.
